As part of the fh4Schools programme, we offer half- to full-day workshops. Here, young people are given a comprehensive and interesting insight into selected subject areas of the Bachelor's degree programmes at the FH Kufstein Tirol.

Seven educational & counselling institutions jointly offer information events for secondary schools in Tyrol.

FH Workshop Academy

As part of the fh4schools programme, the FH Kufstein Tyrol offers half- to full-day workshops. Here, young people are given a comprehensive and interesting insight into selected subject areas of the Bachelor's degree programmes.

kubi trainings

The team of the Kufstein Library for Science & Leisure (kubi) offers age-appropriate introductory courses to search engines and databases as well as workshops for literature research for (pre-)scientific work to students from the upper school.

Open House

The open days at the FH Kufstein Tirol offer a special insight into the campus and the study programmes with taster lectures, laboratory tours, workshops, and much more. The focus here is on personal exchange with students and lecturers.

Competition for a EUR 3,000 travel grant from FH Kufstein Tirol for the Matura/Abi trip.

Young Scientist Energy Award (YSEA)

The YSEA Award is given for pre-scientific work (VWA) and seminar papers at secondary schools that revolve around the topics of energy, sustainability and the environment. The best papers will be awarded prize money of EUR 250.

Moderated business idea competition to promote entrepreneurial thinking and action and to initiate creativity and innovation processes. Cash and non-cash prizes for all finalists!

FFG talent promotion

The FH Kufstein Tirol offers students the opportunity to get a taste of current research projects through summer internships.

The variety of topics varies depending on the department and reflects the research activities of the university.

Participation is funded by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and can be completed during the summer months.

Applications are possible from March.

Long Night of research

Every two years, as part of the nationwide Long Night of Research, the campus of the FH Kufstein Tirol is transformed into a showcase for the latest technologies and research fields from Kufstein and the surrounding area. Many stands offer a special programme for children and young people.

kubi offers

Events for pupils are also organised by the Kufstein Library for Science & Leisure (kubi). 

  • Readings for classes
    Readings on a wide variety of topics take place throughout the year. 
     
  • Trainings
    The kubi team offers age-appropriate introductory courses to search engines and databases as well as workshops for literature research to pupils from the lower grades.

Holiday express Kufstein

Within the holiday express programme of the city of Kufstein, the FH Kufstein Tirol organises exciting and instructive workshops to bring science and research topics closer to children during their holidays: participation is guaranteed!

  • kubi Children's Literature Festival: 23.06. & 24.06.2023
    Already for the 3rd time the big literature festival for children with different reading, handicraft & activity stations takes place. On Friday (23.06.) for all 3rd classes of the primary school; on Saturday (24.06.) for children from the age of 8.

    Throughout the year there are readings especially for children on very different topics.
