Discover the world of business projects of the Sports, Culture & Event Management degree program.

WHAT IS THE EXPO EXACTLY?

All business initiatives completed by students in the study program Sports, Culture & Event Management during the summer semester of 2022 were showcased at the EXPO.

The EXPO provide a chance to learn more about the business initiatives and the diversity of the study course Sports, Culture & Event Management. If you are student at the FH Kufstein Tirol, would want to enrol, or are just interested in learning about how the curriculum’s business projects operate, you have come to the correct place.

HOW DOES THE EXPO WORK?

The current situation allows us to plan and hold the event at FH Kufstein Tirol on July 8, 2022, from 11:00 to 14:00. The study program Sports, Culture & Event Management is ready for you with exciting business initiatives. Each project group exhibits their business project, generating a range of perceptions about it.

Höhenflug

Höhenflug is the Instagram channel of the Sports, Culture & Event Management study program which has the purpose of posting content that is of interest for our students, like events in and around Kufstein or information about the program itself.

Kontakt in die Zukunft

At the event evening "Kontakt in die Zukunft" students meet managers from the sports, cultural and event sector who discuss their activities, future challenges and job perspectives in the respective fields.

Tino Wawra, sports director of FC Blau-Weiß Linz, Alexa Ötzlinger, managing director of Kulisse Wien, and Alexander Kribus, managing director of Messezentrum Salzburg, were invited.

Reading enchants - the two-day kubi Kinderliteraturfestival 2022 transports young visitors and their families and friends into a magical world of fairy tales and legends.

For the Long Night of Research, two quiz formats based on the concepts of the "Millionenshow" and the children's quiz show "1, 2 or 3" were organized with the core topics matching the study Sports, Culture & Event Management, sports and culture.

INDIE SUNSET Festival Vol. 12

With the INDIE SUNSET Festival Vol. 12 on May 13, 2022, the long-awaited Kufstein  festival season, with indie rock music and great side events for students as well as locals, opened.

International Nature Festival

INF Kufstein

The INF Kufstein was held on May 6 and 7 and is a two-day festival consisting of two cinema evenings, a swap market with a focus on people, nature and the environment and the goal of making a positive contribution to the sustainable development of our society.

Kufstein Darts Games 2022

The annual Darts Games organized by the students at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein offer a tournament, where advanced as well as hobby darts players can show their skills.  
In the cozy atmosphere of the Kulturfabrik Kufstein fans and friends can cheer on their players and share a fun time with other darts interested people.

Kufstein24 2022

Kufstein24 took place on April 23, 2022 under the motto "sports for all ages", offering a free sports program in Kufstein for 24 hours to encourage everyone to join in and try out new sports.

Kulturerlebnis Syrien

With the event Cultural Experience Syria, the students offered the opportunity to participate in an evening with a reading, a stand-up comedy program by Jad Turjman, food, and music to deal with the foreign Syrian culture as well as with the topic of escape. In addition, a workshop on the topic of peace was held with a school class.

Nachhaltigkeitswoche

Nachhaltigkeitswoche 2022

Over the course of five days, the Sustainability Week organizes activities such as playing a climate activity and a wild plant hike on the one hand, and also deals with topics such as sustainable urban planning or green finances in lectures on the other. After two years in which the event could only take place online, it can be held for the first time in hybrid form in 2022 under the motto "Let's make the world a little bit greener together".

With the Roundnetcup Kufstein THE trend sport will be brought to Kufstein in 2022. Professional Roundnet players and sports enthusiasts are together on the court in the Grenzlandstadion and can win one of the "RA Tour Series 2022" Tour Stops with the Roundnetcup Kufstein.

TASC-UAM 2022

The TASC-UAM are The Alpine Student Championship - Unisport Austria Championships and took place this year on 05 March at the Gaisberg in Kichberg i. Tirol. This is the Austrian university championship in ski and snowboard. The race consists of a qualifying run and parallel slalom. In addition to the main races, the TASC also offers a variety of side events each year, such as snow volleyball, spikeball and this year's Zipfelbob race. The spectators can expect an exciting ski and snowboard race at the TASC, where the fun is not neglected.

Charity-Projekt Schule für Haiti

Biking for a good cause. At the event of a Whip-Off Qualifier money was collected for the charity action School for Haiti and thus supported the construction of a new school building.

eCup Tirol 2022

The event was planned and organized by a business project group of the master's program Sports, Culture & Event Management at the FH Kufstein Tirol. The eCup Tirol 2022 is expected to attract numerous eSports enthusiasts and those who want to become one to the campus of the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences.

Out of the Box 2022

With "Out of the Box", items that are no longer needed are exchanged for coins, which in turn can be traded for other items, with the overall goal of promoting sustainability. The event will be accompanied by a relaxed social program with music and catering.

The assignment of this business project was to develop a social media marketing concept for Rupert Hirner Bungy Jumping GmbH, which included creating and posting on Instagram and Facebook, as well as creating a content plan until mid-August 2022.

Thiersee Charity Lauf 2022

The Thiersee Charity Run 2022 is all about doing something good together by collecting donations for Ukraine from all participants together - the project offers the perfect opportunity to get involved as a group for a good cause on a day in nature by the lake, which at the same time strengthens cohesion and a sense of community!

After a successful first event in summer 2021, the boulder competition BlocKoasa will take place for a second time this year in St. Johann in Tirol and is designed for bouldering enthusiasts of all levels.

What does it mean to be a hero? - The 5th edition of the Kurzfilmfestival Kufstein highlights stories of people who are not famous (and admired by millions) yet deserve to be praised for their selfless, strong, and kind actions: celebrate with us "Ordinary Heroes" at Kulturquartier Kufstein on November 24, 2022.

Pop-Up Altstadtkonzerte Alte Musik Innsbruck 2022

In the business project ‘Pop-up Concerts Old Music Innsbruck’ the students of the master’s degree program Sports, Culture & Event Management cooperate with the Tourism Board Innsbruck in order to create 8 Pop-up concerts and 1 Flashmob in which the Old Town of Innsbruck meets Music from the 15th to 19th century.

Q+You

The goal of the Q+You project is to raise awareness for LGBTQIA+ topics and make Kufstein a more accepting and welcoming space. To achieve this, events are continued and implemented and merchandise products are created.

Am 15. und 16. September 2023 fand der Unternehmertrag in Leutschach statt, veranstaltet von der Obereder GmbH. Unter dem Motto Nachfolge und mehr bot das Unternehmen wieder eine Plattform für Fachvorträge. Die FH Kufstein Tirol trug mit einem praxisorientierten Vortrag bei.
