French-Austrian University and Science Collaborations
A French delegation from the Campus France Agency visited the FH Kufstein Tirol to discuss possibilities for cross-border university and scientific collaborations with the International Relations Office (IRO). Topics on the agenda included excellence and performance scholarships from the French government for PhDs and young researchers. Other subjects included the Austria Day in Paris organized by Campus France this spring, the founding of a French-Austrian university network, and the establishment of an external branch of a French business school in Austria.
Campus France assists with studying in Austria
The next scholarship will be announced in February and is intended to support French students in their research activities in Austria. Campus France not only provides monetary support but also takes over the organization of the stay abroad and provides affordable accommodation.
The agency aims to inform foreign universities and students about studying in France and assist with its implementation - for example, with bureaucratic tasks such as applying for housing aid or opening a bank account. The support for the exchange provided by the agency is comprehensive and free of charge - an alumni network and various events make it easier to settle in a foreign country.
