Occupational profiles of graduates

The graduates of the “Facility and Real Estate Management” bachelor degree program are specialists who are much in demand in the following core industries: new construction, conversion and refurbishment planning; area management; property management and building operation; maintenance; facility services; energy, environmental and sustainability management; real estate project development and property development; real estate valuation; marketing, utilization and letting.

Examples:

The graduates are involved in the development of concepts intended to increase the profits and value of developed and undeveloped properties, generally taking varying property usage options into account. Basic market and location analyses as well as cost-efficiency calculations for individual construction activities are also part of their field of activity.

The graduates are capable of assessing individual properties with standard types of use (no special real estate) mostly for the purpose of selling them. The preparation and provision of the basic information needed for extensive valuation projects also belongs to their field of activity.

In the context of real estate brokerage and utilization, i.e. real estate marketing, facility and real estate managers work at an individual object level. They ensure that real estate that is not required for a business is utilized most profitably, provide real estate development services and support the sales activities of real estate brokers. The graduates also work in the operational field of real estate letting.
