trend-Magazine: Best employers in Austria

Since 2017, the business magazine trend has been working with the European employer rating platform kununu and the market research company Statista to identify Austria's 300 best employers.

In the annually ranking, Austrian companies are selected whose company size comprises at least 200 employees and can be assigned to one of the predefined industries. The assessments of the employers are collected through four different evaluation channels.

In addition, all employees who were surveyed are asked to rate other employers they know in the same industry (indirect rating). This is done in an anonymous online survey of employees, trend readers and members of the career network Xing and the employer rating platform kununu.

In 2022, the FH Kufstein Tirol was chosen as the best employer in the Austrian university sector.

CHE rankings

The university ranking published by the Centre for Higher Education (Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung, CHE) is a ranking of German universities and higher education institutions, including universities from other countries which offer courses taught in German. It is a subject-based and multi-perspective ranking, so rather than assessing the entire university, e.g. based on the attraction of third-party funding only, it ranks individual subject areas based on several different data sources. Every year only a part of the subjects included in the CHE ranking are examined. The FH Kufstein therefore takes part in a three-year cycle. The latest results are released in May and will be published here (in German only).

Industriemagazin rankings

The austrian magazine “Industriemagazin” carries out an annual survey of business managers and human resources managers who evaluate all dergree programs of universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschule, FH) in their country. Questions such as where managers find the best graduates, how highly qualified are they, and what salary recruiters are prepared to pay for FH graduates, form the basis of the data material which is then published each year. The latest results are usually released in March and will be published here (in German only).

U-MULTIRANK

U-Multirank is a new multidimensional, user-driven approach to international ranking of higher education institutions. The Ranking allows users to create personalized rankings and identify a university’s strengths and weaknesses, or the aspects that most interest them (in German only).

In 2019, 2020 and 2021 the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences reaches a top position on the indicator ‘student mobility’.
