All students of the FH Kufstein Tirol must be in possession of a health insurance that covers possible treatment costs.
Austrian students are automatically co-insured with their parents (until the age of 26) or must insure themselves with the Österreichischen Gesundheitskasse.
Students who have valid state health insurance in their home country can apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from the health insurance institution in their country of origin. With this card, all medically necessary services of the public health care system in Austria are accessible. (Source: OEAD)

By paying the ÖH membership fee, you are automatically covered by accident and liability insurance through the ÖH.
Ende November fand der 7. Family Business Day in der Aula der Kufsteiner Fachhochschule in Kooperation mit WeissmanInternational statt. Die Vortragenden aus Praxis und Wissenschaft gaben vielseitige und individuelle Einblicke in Konzepte und Erfahrungen.
Im November besuchten die Teilnehmenden des berufsbegleitenden Lehrgangs General Management MBA mit Fokus Automotive der International Business School das Designstudio KISKA, einem der führenden europäischen Produkt- und Kommunikationsdesigner Europas.
Mitte November war die Kufsteiner Fachhochschule Teil des im:puls Forums Rosenheim. Die Veranstaltung stand in diesem Jahr unter dem Motto Don’t Panic! Wie High-Tech Ökologie und Optimismus unsere Zukunft retten kann.
