Hybrid #ErasmusDays at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol
From October 15-17, 2020, the #ErasmusDays took place in light of the current move to online formats. The International Relations Office of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol organized a virtual exhibition together with its outgoing exchange students and in cooperation with the Corporate Communication & Marketing Department. This was intended to give those interested an insight into the Erasmus+ program and the experiences of its participants.
“I am pleased that the hybrid form of the ErasmusDays was so well received and that we were able to give those interested an insight into the semester abroad,” said Noureddine Rafili, head of the International Relations Office.
At the same time, the images were exhibited as posters in the assembly hall of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. This way, all members of the university could be given access to the #ErasmusDays, either digitally or on campus. The future Erasmus+ generation, the students of the International School Kufstein Tirol (ISK), received Erasmus+ goodie bags from the International Relations Office of the FH Kufstein Tirol.
“For our high school students, this event is a great opportunity to get an impression of the experiences of the outgoing exchange students of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, and thus a chance to give them ideas for their own future,” said Claudia Atzl, principal of the ISK Tirol.
Our commitment to internationalization
Every year, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol sends more than 250 students to one of our 210 international partner universities, with more than 100 students going to all parts of Europe. Their stay abroad allows students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in a novel context, and it intensifies the element of intercultural exchange. In addition to its academic component, the experience is invaluable for students’ personal growth and development.
