Symposium Discover New Horizons: Festival Studies @ Kufstein University of Applied Sciences
- 1st edition: 2016 “The impacts of festivals on internationalization”
- 2nd edition: 2017 "Potential of Cultural Festivals to foster Local Empowerment and Cultural Sustainability"
Festival Studies focuses on the tasks and effects of festivals in the art categories and cultural industries, on their specific roles within artistic production and cultural offers, and on their visions.
The Symposium „Discover New Horizons“ takes place in the course of the seminar „Festival Studies“ and is open to academic researchers as well as professionals.
