Tel Aviv – the New York of the Mediterranean

13.11.2018 | International
Students of the study program Sports, Culture & Event Management spent a week in the Israeli metropolis within the context of their study trip.

The trip was an excellent opportunity for extra-occupational students to also expand their knowledge abroad and associate the study content with an international context. Besides the graffiti city tour and a visit to the Palmach Museum and Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the students also went on a day trip to Jerusalem and a quick excursion to the Dead Sea.

Tel Aviv and its sports history were the topics of a presentation at the sports club Maccabi Tel Aviv. Another highlight was a visit to the Austrian Ambassador Mag. Martin Weiss who gave us some insight into his work and the relationship between Israel and Austria.

The up-an-coming-managers were accompanied by the Head of the Study Program Asc. Prof. (FH) Monika Kohlhofer and Angela Scalet, BA. “We believe it is important to give students insight into other cultures and different ways of living. Here in Israel, we were able to gain exciting insights into international sports, culture and event management,” said Monika Kohlhofer.
