More than 100,000 euros were paid out for outstanding student achievements by 71 students at a joint award ceremony.

Every year, the Federal Ministry of Science, Research, and Economy performance scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding student achievements. For the 2021/22 academic year, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol was able to award merit-based scholarships with a total value of over 100,000 euros. The sum of 1,429 euros was awarded to each scholarship holder. 71 students were the lucky recipients, who can now also benefit financially from their student success shortly before Christmas. The performance scholarships were awarded in a festive setting on December 2 in the ballroom of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol.

"Outstanding student performance should be rewarded. It is not only the financial aspect that counts here but, above all, the appreciation for intellectual efforts. Therefore, I am pleased once again to be able to confer this award to our students for their achievements. Moreover, the amount awarded is not insignificant. Many of our students finance their studies themselves and can really use this financial award! The scholarship holders thus receive an important end-of-the-year financial contribution from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research – congratulations," said the FH Rector, Prof. (FH) Dr. Mario Döller.

Recognition of Student Achievements

All students whose academic performance was better than the average grade of 80% in the academic year 2021/22 could apply for the performance scholarship. This year, 71 students from the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol were awarded the performance scholarship. Every study program and organizational form (part-time/full-time) awarded a maximum of three scholarships of EUR 1,429 each.
