Learning outcomes of course unit

The students are able to:
• Understand the history and fundamentals of information systems.
• Classify and categorize computer systems.
• Recognize and analyze the specifics and requirements of today’s companies.
• Identify technologies, products and trends of information systems.
• Know ERP, SCM, CRM and be able to differentiate between them.
• Apply the fundamentals of data security.
• Obtain an overview of networks, the Internet and the cloud and analyze them.
• Classify information systems and the integration of mobile devices.
• Identify and differentiate interfaces.
• Understand and classify the use of sensors.
• Differentiate between different programming languages.
